(5/5) Came here for a visitor shopping then found this place before we left. Doctor is really professional and sufficient for both prescription and glasses we got our new one same day with an hour! Price was really reasonable! Love the place will come here visit again!

Got a second pair that they were able to complete just in time before leaving Puerto Vallarta— they put in a rush order and the glasses also came out amazing. Will definitely be coming back to get future glasses from here. Don’t hesitate to come here!

Además, me sorprendió la gran variedad de modelos que ofrecen, desde opciones muy accesibles hasta diseños más exclusivos, lo que facilita encontrar el estilo perfecto para cada presupuesto. (3/5) Había tenido muy buenas recomendaciones de su calidad y sus reseñas lo dicen todo sin embargo no termino de sentirme satisfecha con mi cita el día de hoy. Tal vez se trata de una confusión o simplemente otras reconocidas Opticas me dejaron mal acostumbrada y es que en esta óptica el precio que ves exhibido (del armazón obviamente) es solo por el armazón…después de tu consulta te explican varias opciones (que en lo personal me confundieron) y al decidir quedarme mejor con el precio exhibido (porque si elegía más cosas aumentaba $$) preguntándole que si incluía mi graduación y ella reiterándome que si, que solo se me cobrarían $500 extra de consulta a la cual yo accedí terminan dándome mi armazón, mi receta y me pregunta que si los voy a mandar a hacer por fuera y yo ??? • resulta que eran $2,400 pesos por mi armazón y ADEMÁS $1500 por mi graduaciónDigo que me mal acostumbre porque usualmente el precio exhibido en el armazón incluye la graduación y normalmente los que atienden hacen la labor de venta de agregar extras como el antireflejante, etc etc.Me fui con la idea de los comentarios de que tienen muy rápido los lentes y me los entregarán hasta en una semana. Tenía la idea de gastar alrededor de $2,500 por unos lentes nuevos y gasté $4,000 por unos que ni de marca son Ni modo de cancelarlos porque cobran el 30% por hacerloSon muy amables pero agradecería que explicaran mejor sus precios para una inculta como yo. Estoy muy inconforme.

Both Dr. Alvarez and Iris helped me with my exam and answered all of my questions regarding my first pair of progressive glasses.In addition, they also helped me with a follow up appointment to answer my additional questions weeks later. They were extremely helpful and informative.I highly recommend Ópticas Alvarez for your next pair of eyeglasses.

(5/5) HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Optical shop. !! 10 stars!!. My transitions glasses broke. Found this shop on google as being open at NOON on a Sunday!!!. Most other shops closed on Sunday's. Got an uber there. Technician spoke English too!!!. They fixed my broken frame. I also asked if they could use the current lenses and MAKE A SECOND pair of glasses. They COULD & did just that. They couldn't make transitions (those take 7 days) in.....BUT they made me a backup (clear lens) pair WITHIN an hour!!!! I wished I had found this place as soon as I got to PV. I would have had some new transitions frames!!! There's always the next trip.!!!

(5/5) My niece lost her glasses on our trip to PV … we looked on the Internet to see if there was a way to get her glasses in a day or two…Opticas Alvarez came up and we stopped by and got glasses for her in one hour!!! Very professional, great service & super friendly! She really needed her glasses & they saved her trip so she can enjoy her vacation! Gracias!!

(5/5) My wife's glasses broke half way into our vacation. We located the missing screw and went here. Not only were they very friendly, and spoke English, they refused payment for the repair. This kind of service is refreshing in a tourist area where you're often assaulted by salesmen. Highly recommended. They're located in the hall of stores directly across from the large supermarket. You go through some security sensors which made me think we were entering the supermarket. Made locating them a little confusing. They're in number 179.

(5/5) Estoy encantada con el servicio que brinda Optica Alvarez desde su amabilidad hasta su rapidez en tenerme unos lentes de urgencia, y mejor aún, sí te atienden sin cita, busqué y busqué en muchos lugares de puerto vallarta y la tardanza era de 3 a 15 días y además era necesario agendar cita y sólo contaban con ciertos horarios disponibles, estoy muy FELIZ gracias al personal que me atendió muy atentos y amables! They had a great selection of frames and prices were very reasonable. They even delivered the frames to our hotel because we were unable to get back to the store. Thanks for great service!

(5/5) We were vacationing in PV and I lost my glasses in the ocean on the first day of our vacation. Which was a Sunday. I called Opticas Alvarez, and though the technician on the other end didn't speak a lot of English, she was able to communicate to me that they could probably get contacts for me that day or glasses on Monday. A quick Uber ride to the Plaza Caracol (a shopping mall), a conversation with the kind doctor there (who spoke English perfectly) and walked out with new contact lenses 20 minutes later. My only regret is I called my Uber back to the hotel before I saw the taquerias that ringed the exterior of the mall. Otherwise, I would have had a snack. (Also, I stepped on a stingray looking for my glasses. Ouch)

(5/5) My eyeglass broke while i was on a vacation. Dr Alvarez agreed to see me the same day. My new glass was ready in 30 mins. The people of Mexico are fabulous.
