Se hicieron los exámenes en el momento a las 12 pm y a las 7 pm approx ya se tenían los lentes listos con la prescripción correcta, y estos eran progresivos (bifocales). (5/5) Our daughter lost her glasses in the sea during our holiday. The only solution was to Quickstep find lenses. She has +7 hypermetropia. Lenses for this eye defect are very difficult to find. Several optical stores could only order them within 5-8 working days delivery time. But COS had these lenses in stock, they even brought them to the Cancun Club Med. (5/5) I lost my prescription sunglasses right before our vacation to Cancun. I saw this office offered an expedited glasses service, and I received a quick eye exam. My glasses were around $380 USD(about what I pay without insurance back home), but they are really cool transition lenses. The technology is new and protects against blue light as well. The glasses turned out super cute, and they delivered them to the hotel. Awesome service and great communication! Definitely recommend

(3/5) Im a canadian who lost her glasses in the sea. Yeah i know. Thanks to them i was able to have a new pair in 24h. I did take a *expansive* pair and a protection so it was 450 can $. The only thing that i did not like its after the delivery of my glasses, I never receive my prescription. I wanted a copy for my retourn in the country, so I did try to contact them, but nothing. I see now so its cool but, yeah.

(5/5) I can't believe it, I'm sure it hardly ever happens, but I lost my glasses in the ocean. After a fruitless search and an hour of frantic Googling, I went to COS. At 4 pm they gave me an eye test and ordered new glasses. By 1 pm the next day, I could see again. Muchas gracias! Reasonable price and fantastic service.

(5/5) What a great experience I had. Dr Ulises and his staff was great. I had lost my glasses in the ocean while on vacation. I found Cancun Optical Specialists online with many great reviews. So I took a chance and went to COS for a new pair of prescription glasses so I could see the rest of my vacation.. COS did a great job of communicating and getting my glasses to me a day earlier than he said. Also Dr Ulises delivred them right to my hotel for free. I cant say enough about how great everything went. If your ever in the need for glasses while in Cancun make sure to visit COS and tell them that you read Fred's review.

(5/5) Amazing place and service! I was taken care of even better than I have been back home. I lost my glasses in the ocean and called this place to get a new pair. The gentleman there did the eye exam and placed the order right away. I went back to my hotel, and less than five hours later, they texted me that my new glasses were ready! (1/5) Poor Service & Inaccurate PrescriptionI regret to say that my experience at Kukulcan Olaza was highly disappointing. After purchasing glasses based on an eye test conducted in-store, I returned to New Zealand and had my eyes re-examined by a qualified optometrist. The results revealed a significant discrepancy in the prescription provided by this store. The glasses I received are completely unusable—extremely uncomfortable and impossible to wear.The eye exam at Kukulcan Olaza felt rushed and unprofessional, clearly lacking the thoroughness required for accurate vision correction. Additionally, the sales process was pushy, with staff repeatedly asking for payment before finalizing everything.Due to the incorrect prescription and poor service, I had to spend extra money on a new pair of glasses in NZ. I strongly advise against choosing this store for your optical needs—save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Admittedly, being from America, and far from my optometrist and usual conveniences, I thought I was doomed for the week, but I found their reviews online and decided to stop by. I quickly realized that all was not lost. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, and in less than 10 hours (same day in my case) I had a brand-new pair of prescription glasses at a very reasonable price. (5/5) My fiancee was hit by a couple bad waves in a row and lost her glasses in the ocean. Her prescription is quite strong so she was effectively blind without her glasses. After a failed search in the ocean our concierge recommended COS. By the time we arrived it was 7 or 8 in the evening. Her new glasses were ready around noon the next day. Truly a trip saver, we really appreciate the service.

(5/5) If you need prescription sunglasses on your vacation, this is the place to go! We placed our order around 6:30pm and got our glasses delivered to our resort by 2pm the next day! The staff speaks English and has Raybans, and a variety of lens colours as well. We paid 7000 pesos for 1 pair.

A wave knocked them off and took them away forever.I looked on Google Maps and found COS and saw many amazing reviews. I called them, and the person who picked up the phone could speak great English. It was a 4 minute taxi drive from our hotel, and in less than 90 minutes from leaving my hotel room to getting back, I had ordered new glasses. We got there at about 12:30 pm, and by 10:00 am the next morning I had a brand new pair of glasses that I could wear.We came to Cancun for our wedding anniversary, and having COS saved the trip.I hope whoever reads this doesn't lose their glasses, but if you do, COS will take care of you.

(5/5) My husband's glasses got bent beyond repair making them hard to see out of. COS Cancun Optical Specialists managed to make him a new pair at a great price in 48 hours. The optician who helped him get the new glasses fitted and ordered provided superior service and customer care. My husband is very satisfied with the service he received and the quality of the glasses.

(5/5) In good company, my sunglasses (with prescription) also were victims of the ocean and as it was the beginning of our trip, we decided to try to get new ones. It was very fast communication via WhatsApp, they were very friendly and professional and did speak good English. They took my prescription from my normal glasses, checked again, I was able to choose the color of the glasses and I could choose from any model in the shop. As we left Cancun the morning after I placed the order and came back only 3 days later I wasn’t really checking how fast they could do it but they told me it would have been ready in about 36hrs (as there was a Sunday in between). Picking them up didn’t take more than 1 minute. Price was probably a little more expensive as it would have been at home which I find ok for the fast service and I picked my model by looks not price ;). So if you loose your glasses and need quick and efficient service, I can definitely recommend!

(5/5) I lost my prescription glasses at the beach. They took my prescription and delivered to my hotel in 3 hours. You can’t beat that service.

(1/5) Don't use this office. I purchased glasses and new no line bifocal. He never reachout when my glasses were ready. I went there three time and no-one was there. Finally I got a response from texting. When I picked up my glasses they used the wrong prescription. Two days later I went back and they weren't right. I was told my eyes needed to adjust to the new glasses/ my prescription hadn't changed! Made no sense to me. I returned to the US the next day. I reachout a few days later because I couldnt see out of the glasses. I was told give it a week for my eyes to adjust. Long story short I went to my optometrist the bifocal wasn't measured correctly. I had to replace the lenses= $134.95. I reached out to Cancun Optomitrist and was told they would not give me a refund for the new lense only a credit for future use, finally after going back and fourth I was told the office would refund the $134.95 and they would reachout to me on Friday / 4 days later. I heard nothing. I called my credit card company a did a dispute for $134,95. This place is the worst unprofessional, incompetent. Do not use them I urge you to go somewhere else. They are not optical specialist! They are liars and cheaters!
